Returns & Exchanges Policy

The merchandise purchased from Maria Luisa Boutique is unconditionally guaranteed. Should you not be satisfied with your purchase, please return it within 14 days of receipt of merchandise.  (Please note: Final sale, holiday or calendar merchandise are not returnable.). To be eligible for a return, you must present proof of purchase with the item in the same condition that you received it: unworn or unused, in its original packaging, and with all of its tags still on. 

Web Purchase Refunds

If requesting a web purchase refund, it will be credited back to you via the original method of payment. This refund should be posted within three weeks of the date of processing as follows:

  • Within 14 days of purchase: Full refund, less original cost of shipping.
  • Within 15-30 days of purchase: Store Gift Card, less a 25% restocking fee and original cost of shipping.
  • Over 30 days of purchase: Not refundable.

Please NOTE that it may take up to two billing cycles for a credit to appear on your monthly credit-card statement. Most returns should be fully processed within two to three weeks, depending on how the merchandise is returned. Gift-card purchases will be refunded in the form of a new gift card, sent to your attention at your billing address.

Web Merchandise

When returning merchandise purchased through www.MariaLuisaBoutique.com, you may opt to make returns via courier service or in person in either of our stores.

  • Maria Luisa Boutique cannot accept responsibility for personal shipping fees or lost items.
  • In-person returns will be accepted at the store(s) for web purchases when merchandise is presented with the original packing slip and the return is made within Maria Luisa Boutique’s Web Purchases 14-day return policy period.

Web Purchase Exchanges

Exchanges of web purchased merchandise may also be completed by using the methods described above. Before sending an item for exchange, email your request to mlgifts@marialuisaboutique.com and indicate what merchandise is desired instead. The following exchange options are available:

    • You may make an exchange for the same item (when available) in a different size or color. 
    • You may make an exchange for a different item.
    • you will be assessed a new shipping fee (via your original method of payment) that will be charged to that same original form of payment to cover the Smart Label return fee.
    • To make an exchange in person, visit the store with your original packing list and items in the original packing to help the process go smoothly.

In-store purchases at Maria Luisa Boutique 77 South Broadway, Nyack NY are returnable for store credit within 7 days of purchase. All return condition criteria listed above apply.
